I WOULD like to thank all those who voted for me at district's spring conference in May to allow me to serve as the Program Quality Director. It is a real privilege and pleasure to be able to represent your particular interests in such a remarkable post.

I joined Toastmasters in April 2013, and within eight months I was elected as the club president for Montgomery Toastmasters, and my leadership roles were by volunteering to assist Agnes Oberkor to be the timer for Division C Speech Contest. By that time, I have not completed Six (6) speeches to conduct other roles in the contest, not knowing my timing position would lead to District 77 (2016-2017) Program Quality Director.

It is time to celebrate our Distinguished District status for (2015-2016), your efforts and dedications to achieving the club's mission were impactful. You accepted to “The Compass for Success” theme and the compass led us to a great limelight. As one year ends, we are starting a new year to focus on “every member matters” We know what success looks like, and we can continue the path to becoming a President’s Distinguished District.

We, the new District Officers are setting goals by diving forward to achieving excellence, and relying on the Toastmasters’ core values: Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence to guide our actions.

Our District 77 members are the most valuable asset. This year, the Program Quality Committee will focus on Education and Training activities that will help members become “UNSTOPPABLE” in their quest to becoming successful in every aspect of their lives by willing to accept failures and successes as a healthy part of growth. My desire is to find ways to keep our members actively engaged.

Once again, thank you for your vote of confidence to serve as your Program Quality Director for (2016-2017). Looking forward to your full support in our engagements this year.
